2021 Fantasy Football: Week 9 D/ST Streamers

I know, I know. Having to plug kickers and defenses into your fantasy lineups is one of the worst parts of fantasy football. Especially when you get beat because of it. But you get what you get, and you don’t get upset. So, let’s take a look at three potential defenses that could score you some points. There’s no reason you can’t be the one who wins their matchup because of their defense, right? Let’s see if my Week 9 D/ST streamers can help you do just that.

What!? Your league isn’t hosted on Fantrax!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.

Buffalo Bills Defense

The Bills Defense have accrued over 100 points on the season thus far, and they’ve got a good chance to add to that this week against a Jags offense that’s still trying to find their way. Remember when Trevor Lawrence was a can’t miss prospect? Funny how the NFL makes most rookie QBs look like rookie QBs. With 16 sacks, 11 ints, and 12 fumble recoveries, this defense gets to the ball, and should have no problem continuing that trend against Lawrence.

Miami Dolphins Defense

I don’t know if Tyrod Taylor will be playing. I don’t know if Davis Mills will be playing. As long as the Texans are playing (they are), I would love to target the defense facing them. It’s okay not to overthink this matchup. If you start the Dolphins, it’s likely to work out in your favor.

Kansas City Chiefs Defense

I know they’ve been the laughing stock defense of the league, but they’ve just traded for Melvin Ingram (which certainly won’t make them worse), and they’re going to be facing a rookie QB (essentially) in Jordan Love. As we mentioned with Trevor Lawrence, it doesn’t matter how highly touted you were. How good you’re expected to be. The fact is, good QBs only become good from experience. Love doesn’t have any. Don’t be scared of this offense.
