2021 Fantasy Football: Week 6 D/ST Streamers

I know, I know. Having to plug kickers and defenses into your fantasy lineups is one of the worst parts of fantasy football. Especially when you get beat because of it. But you get what you get, and you don’t get upset. So, let’s take a look at three potential defenses that could score you some points. There’s no reason you can’t be the one who wins their matchup because of their defense, right?

Yeah, we know football is in full swing. That doesn’t mean you can’t jump into fantasy hoops? From joining a public league with our Fantasy Basketball Commissioner to trying one of our Classic Draft Contests, there are plenty of ways to play Fantasy Basketball on Fantrax!

Miami Dolphins Defense

I wouldn’t exactly say that the Jaguars’ offense rallied around Urban Meyer, but they probably looked the best that they’ve looked all season, last week. I’ll take my chances that the Jags aren’t going to become an offensive juggernaut anytime soon. Rookie QBs make mistakes. All QBs make mistakes. But rookie ones make more. The Dolphins are getting Tua back this week, which should mean a more solid run game as defenses can’t stack the box. The Dolphins should control the clock and the score, forcing Lawrence to make more plays through the air. Expect interceptions and sacks from Miami this week.

Green Bay Packers Defense

I might as well copy and paste the Miami Dolphins blurb! The Packers have a strong run game and Aaron Rodgers. There’s a reason they’re favorites in this matchup. I think Justin Fields will be good, but not less than 100% healthy, and not with that offensive line, and not if he’ll need to throw 40 times per game. I think Fields is mobile enough to avoid sacks, provided Nagy moves the pocket, but turnovers are expected. Jump on this matchup.

Cincinnati Bengals Defense

The Lions keep finding ways to lose close games. They’re actually competing very well, considering their lack of brand names in this rebuild. It’s inspiring, actually. However, no matter the odds, the universe will always choose the path that leads to a Lions loss. Don’t fight this. Act accordingly.
