Week 12 Sleepers and Streamers

Josh Gordon (Kansas City Chiefs)

I’ll be honest…this is a super deep sleeper, but it’s still a sleeper, nonetheless. Andy Reid said last week that, “It’s only a matter of time before he’s a productive member of the offense.” Gordon’s snap share continues to trend upwards, and the Chiefs are thirsty to have a receiver that can stretch the field outside of Hill and Kelce. Hardman is solid, but he’s a quintessential high-floor, low-ceiling wideout. Gordon is a low-floor, high-ceiling candidate. And he’s available in essentially every league. Over the next three games, Hill and Kelce will be up against three top ten pass defenses: Denver, Raiders, and the Chargers. For the Chiefs to get their offense back rolling, they’ll need to have secondary and tertiary targets. Gordon can be that guy, and Andy Reid wants it to happen.

Adam Trautman (New Orleans Saints)

Trevor Siemian has turned himself into a competent quarterback, and one thing is very clear: Trevor loves his tight end. Trautman is the unquestioned TE1 on this roster and he’s logged 6,7,6, and 8 targets over the last four games. While he only has one touchdown over that stretch, it’s clear that he’s depended upon. With the exception of the Buffalo pass defense, the Saints face Dallas (20th pass defense), New York Jets (31st pass defense), and Tampa (22nd pass defense). The stars are aligning for Trautman to break out over the next few. Get in now.

Rondale Moore (Arizona Cardinals)

They’ve got a bye week in Week 12, but I feel compelled to have y’all jump on this one now, before it’s too late. We’ve got a lot of factors working in our favor to start Rondale Moore. First and foremost, Christian Kirk is in line to sign one of those early deals. I think the Cards want to determine whether or not they can give Moore heavy targets, or if they need to pay Kirk (Moore had 11 targets last game). Next, Kyler Murray is likely going to play week 12, which will set the offense free again, though Colt McCoy has performed admirably, and won two of three. Lastly, they have Chicago and Detroit in two of their next three, and in the middle of those two opponents, they have to deal with Jalen Ramsey shadowing Hopkins (making secondary and tertiary targets more attractive). Moore should be in your lineups going forward.
